The image is primarily made up of fluid, curvilinear lines that eloquently capture the movement and form of the female body, echoed by gentle ripples around her which suggest she is submerged in water.Gestel's drawing showcases his mastery in utilizing minimalism and motion to convey vitality and grace. The figure’s pose is natural and appears almost effortlessly sketched, contributing to the overall sensation of movement and the ephemeral moment of swimming.
