The artwork is divided into sections, each featuring irises in different artistic expressions and color palettes. The main section displays irises in bold shades of white and gold against a deep blue background, evoking a sense of depth and vibrancy. Adjacent to it, a narrower panel portrays the flowers in a more geometric style with a similar color scheme, demonstrating Verneuil's versatility in handling both organic and structured forms.Beneath these, a third panel features a lighter rendition of the irises, set against a muted backdrop, giving a softer and more delicate touch to the composition. This variation not only highlights Verneuil's skill in color modulation but also in textural contrasts."Iris 3" is a testament to Maurice Pillard Verneuil's mastery in art and design, making it a perfect representation of the Art Nouveau movement’s love for nature, curvilinear forms, and intricate details.
