More about this artwork
The painting features a vibrant collection of six botanical prints, each arranged in a grid pattern. The top left print displays an intricate, circular floral pattern with bold pink, fuchsia, and green colors on a warm yellow background. Adjacent to it on the right, dark leafy designs with three pink orchid-like flowers, vivid against a saturated black backdrop, stand out with their detailed lilac outlines and highlights.Below these, the middle left print shows a symmetrical composition of teal and azure elements radiating from a central orange heart, set against a deep maroon background. Next to this, detailed elongated leaves in shades of blue and ivory, adorned with red berries, fill a bright blue field, giving a sense of lush abundance. On the bottom row, the left panel features a geometric arrangement with spiked pods in browns and ivory, punctuated by bright green accents, all on a dark chocolate background. Finally, nestled beside it, an intricate pattern of chestnut-brown seeds in pinecone-like textures on a field of midnight blue is interspersed with small green leaf designs, invoking a mosaic-like feel.

He produced eleven albums inspired by insects, butterflies and nature, with intricate Art Nouveau and brightly colored Art Deco geometric floral patterns. He used a unique printing technique called Pochoir, the method of applying pigment to paper through stencils.
