This drawing depicts a whimsical interpretation of a locomotive train, rendered with child-like innocence and simplicity. The train appears in profile, executed in dark, heavy lines against a light background. The engine features prominent wheels, connected by rods that hint at movement, and a boxy structure for the cabin. Various cylindrical and rectangular shapes suggest boilers and other machinery on the engine's deck. On the right, a large, rounded front of the locomotive has several windows, giving it an anthropomorphic face. The train emits billowy, irregular smoke that fills the upper portion of the drawing, enhancing the sense of motion and activity.
