More about this artwork

The painting portrays a lion in a serene, reclined position. The lion's body is gracefully extended, showcasing a relaxed posture with its front paw comfortably resting outward. The artist has meticulously captured the texture of the lion’s fur, with visible strokes suggesting softness and volume. The lion's face holds a calm, statuesque expression with detailed whiskers, a perceptive gaze from clear eyes, and perked ears indicating attentiveness. The shading technique used imbues the image with depth and realism, highlighting the muscular contours of the lion’s body.
