He appears calm and composed, holding a scroll while addressing two mesmerized scholars. His celestial blue robe contrasts markedly with the vibrant reds and greens that adorn the figures of the temple elders and the intricate architectural backdrop. The elders, representing wisdom and learning, are shown listening intently to Jesus. Their faces are illustrated with detailed expressions of intrigue and respect.
