More about this artwork

We are delighted to present "Lilled" (1895), a captivating floral painting by the talented Lilly Walther. In this exquisite piece, the artist masterfully captures the ethereal beauty of blooming flowers, utilizing a vibrant palette to breathe life into each petal and leaf. The artwork features a collection of lush, brilliantly colored blossoms, each rendered with delicate precision. Particularly striking are the varying shades of pinks and blues that imbue the flowers with a dynamic, almost lifelike quality.Walther’s distinct style is evident in the fluidity of her brush strokes and the organic arrangement of the flora, which gracefully meanders across the canvas. This composition not only highlights the natural elegance of the flowers but also showcases Walther’s proficiency in botanical illustration. “Lilled” invites viewers to pause and appreciate the simple beauty of nature, rendered through the lens of an artist’s keen eye and steady hand.
