A central, stark divide splits the canvas into two distinct halves, marked by a deep black void that suggests an abyss or a chasm of emptiness. This black space introduces a dramatic contrast to the predominantly white and grey tones of the bed linens. At this dividing line, there is a faint red thread stretching across the gap, offering a slim connection between the two sides.
