This painting by Egon Schiele depicts a female nude in a squatting position on a background of earthy beige. The figure is outlined selectively with a thick white border, emphasizing the contour of her body against the neutral backdrop. She has a direct and intense gaze, looking outwards with her head slightly tilted. Her hair is styled in short, tousled waves of a bold reddish-purple hue. Her skin is rendered in a pale tone with shades of green and pink that accentuate the curves and muscles, while reddish and starkly defined patches mark her nipples and lips, creating a vivid contrast.
