The texture and color palette used by Rutkus add a sense of depth and warmth to the piece. One of the most striking features of this painting is the intricate detailing on the woman's face and attire. Adorned with an elaborate headpiece and decorations that resonate with traditional aesthetics, possibly suggesting cultural significance or heritage, the artwork is imbued with a golden, almost ethereal quality that enhances its mystique. The use of gold tones and subtle shimmers not only highlights her features but also suggests a kind of inner light or spiritual richness. The detailed lace patterns on her attire, combined with delicate jewelry, further accentuate her elegance and the overall ornamental quality of the work.
