Accompanying the blooming flower is a bud on a gracefully arching stem, suggesting the cycle of growth and renewal inherent in nature.Redouté’s mastery in botanical illustration is further evident in the lifelike portrayal of the leaves and stem, characterized by their vibrant green color and realistic texture. Each vein in the leaves is carefully delineated, emphasizing the artist’s precise and careful observation."Choix des plus belles fleurs pl 060" not only serves as an artistic representation of a flower but also as a scientific record, reflecting Redouté’s dual role as both artist and botanist.
