The background sways with abstract shapes and forms, suggesting a vivid, natural setting that seems almost alive—dancing around the central subjects.Enckell's use of light and shadow not only enhances the three-dimensionality of the figures but also contributes to the overall mystical and otherworldly atmosphere of the painting.
