The painting depicts an angular, makeshift street cart comprising a variety of materials. Atop the cart, a navy blue umbrella is propped open, perhaps to shield from rain or sun. The main body of the cart bears patches and textured surfaces in subdued hues of blues and browns, implying wear and exposure to the elements. There’s a visible framework of slender wooden poles supporting or perhaps maneuvering the cart. Several items, which are possibly books or boxes, are strapped onto the cart, adding to the impression of it being used for vending or transport.
